Dronework Website & Portal

About

I designed the Dronework site & portal. Dronework is a portal that connects freelancers to clients, such as Upwork and Fiverr, but specifically for jobs that require the use of drones.
This was quite an extensive project as it involved designing end-to-end the entire user experience, from the landing page to registration to the portal design.
Role
Research / Branding / Conceptualization & creative direction / Creation of visual assets / Mockups & prototyping / Copywriting
Tools
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD

Alpha Page

Dronework’s first launch where was a simple alpha page for users to sign up their interest and be notified of the live launch.

Landing Page

The idea for the landing page was to showcase a Gallery feature of the latest community submissions of photos taken by their drones. The user could click in to learn more about each photo, such as the description and name of the Pilot.

Miscellaneous Pages

Click to expand the tabs to view the miscellaneous pages for designed for Dronework.

The Registration Page allows for users to sign up either as a Client or a Pilot. If they’re signing up as a Pilot, they are prompted to enter extra information to fill up their profile and verify their credentials.

Dronework – Register 2 (Email verification) [PILOT] Dronework – Register 2 (SMS verification) [CLIENT] – 1

The general navigation for Dronework is split into two experiences, depending on whether the user is a Pilot or a Client. For Pilots, they would be able to search for and make offers on jobs, while for Clients, they would be able to post jobs and manage, accept, and reject offers.

Other than the general navigation for the portal, this was the proposed design for the Dashboard for both Pilots & Clients, where they could manage their activity, jobs, and profile in one place. Additionally, they could also view upcoming jobs, chat with others, and view their performance via analytics.

The Job Portal would be where Pilots would be able to filter down for Jobs being offered by Clients by score, price, location, and other parameters.

The Portfolio page is the profile page where other Pilots/Clients would be able to view you, your credentials, past works, and reviews.

This is the flow designed for when a Client wants to post a Job, guiding them through the process of filling out information.

The Pilot & Client would be able to view a list of their Active and Archived Jobs and manage their Jobs from this view.

One main feature we wanted to have in Dronework was a Gallery feature, where Pilots would be able to upload photos taken during their assignments to form part of their Portfolio.

The Settings Page is where the user can manage their settings. For Pilots, there is the additional ability to manage their Gallery directly.

The Email Templates were a general guidance for the developer to user for any emails coming from Dronework, but the emails I designed specifically for were:

  • When a Job was successfully posted
  • When a bid/offer was made on a Job
  • When a Client accepted your offer.
